skype crashes on fedora 12

1) Check which skype package is installed.

$> sudo rpm -qa | grep skype
skype-2.0.0.72-fc5.i586

2) Go to skype website and download the rpm for the latest skype
skype-2.1.0.81-fc10.i586.rpm

3) Uninstall the old version
$> sudo rpm -e skype-2.0.0.72-fc5.i586


4) Install the new version
$> sudo rpm -i skype-2.1.0.81-fc10.i586.rpm

After this, skype should be stable.
